Let´s begin with Delphina. She is now in her last class at the "Musikhauptschule" in Timelkam. Playing an instrument is duty here.
Delphina (left) plays the flute since four years and was allowed to play in an ensemble at the "Vöcklabruck Children Advent".
Every musician has to play in the school band. Here at an rehershal, Delphina sitting at the right hand.
Also sitting at the very right hand in concerts, like here at a competition.
By the way: This was the second time that this band took part at a competition - and they accieved in both performances a sensationally first place!
The school-choire too reached a excellent result. Director of the choire and the band is Klaus Duftschmid, who is bandmaster of the "Vöcklabrucker Stadtmusik".
Review to the end of last schoolyear 2003/2004:
The Timelkam "Musikhauptschule" performed "Sisters in Motion", a adaptation of "Sister Act".
The Musical was a hit.
Delphina had even e speaking part. In this picture you can see her as a nun. Guess which! ;-)
"52. Neerpelt Musik Festival for the youth" in Belgium:
Besides all activities in last schoolyear . . .
. . . did the musicians of the school travel to Belgium . . .
. . . and took part - again very successfully - at this international competition.
